Restarted Just Home Supportive Housing Initiative
Program LaunchOn Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Mayor Mamdani announced the city will restart the Just Home supportive housing initiative, reversing the prior administration's decision to block the project. The 100% affordable housing project will create 83 new apartments at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in the Bronx to serve formerly incarcerated New Yorkers with serious medical conditions. The Fortune Society will develop and operate the project.
